Organizing School: Session 5

Join LA Forward organizer Hannah Kessel for our first ever Organizing School series! Over 5 weeks, we'll dive into the nuts and bolts of organizing: storytelling, structured organizing conversations, leadership skills, and theories of change.

Each week, we'll learn from readings, films, and historical and contemporary examples of how our fellow organizers have worked together to agitate for the changes they want to see in the world. 

Organizing School meets weekly on Thursdays from 6-7:30pm, beginning on January 7th and ending on February 4th. Each session will build upon content covered in the previous sessions, so plan to attend all 5 sessions.

February 2021 Monthly Meeting

A majority of our budget comes from our members’ monthly donations. In 2024, our goal is to raise 70% of our budget from dues-paying members. That will enable us to be 100% accountable to people like you. Your gift allows us to respond rapidly to emerging issues, to take on powerful interests, and spend as little time possible on fundraising so we can focus on the crucial work that needs to get done every day.
