Climate Justice Team 2021 Kickoff

Join LA Forward Action's climate justice team for our 2021 kickoff - learn about the different local campaigns we're involved in, how we're growing and building strong coalitions across LA, and how you can get involved! Plus, our special guest speakers from STAND-LA and Food and Water Watch will talk about the power of grassroots organizing in climate justice and our two biggest campaigns - phasing out oil drilling and moving LA's electricity to 100% renewables. If you're new to climate activism, we'll support you in how best to get started, and if you're a seasoned activist there are plenty of opportunities for a greater depth of involvement. Everyone is welcome!

A majority of our budget comes from our members’ monthly donations. In 2024, our goal is to raise 70% of our budget from dues-paying members. That will enable us to be 100% accountable to people like you. Your gift allows us to respond rapidly to emerging issues, to take on powerful interests, and spend as little time possible on fundraising so we can focus on the crucial work that needs to get done every day.
