Housing Justice Team Meeting

Join us for our monthly Housing Justice Team meeting! Tara Barauskas with Community Corp of Santa Monica (and Board Chair of SCANPH) will lead a teach-in on how affordable housing gets built in Los Angeles. We’ll also discuss our efforts to connect with the coalition housing justice groups in LA already creating change through policy and how we can build on the work being done. We will also provide an update on the Housing 101 guide and discuss potential ways we can organize and empower people at the neighborhood level.

A majority of our budget comes from our members’ monthly donations. In 2024, our goal is to raise 70% of our budget from dues-paying members. That will enable us to be 100% accountable to people like you. Your gift allows us to respond rapidly to emerging issues, to take on powerful interests, and spend as little time possible on fundraising so we can focus on the crucial work that needs to get done every day.
