Housing Justice May Monthly Meeting

Join us to learn about how to get involved in housing justice in Los Angeles. Eric Ares, Sr. Manager - Homeless Systems Change at United Way will be presenting on what U.S. District Court judge David O. Carter's Injunction means for those that are unhoused in Los Angeles. There will be updates from our coalition housing justice groups in LA and we will discuss how we can build on the work being done. We will also provide an update on the Housing 101 guide and discuss potential ways we can organize and empower people at the neighborhood level.

A majority of our budget comes from our members’ monthly donations. In 2024, our goal is to raise 70% of our budget from dues-paying members. That will enable us to be 100% accountable to people like you. Your gift allows us to respond rapidly to emerging issues, to take on powerful interests, and spend as little time possible on fundraising so we can focus on the crucial work that needs to get done every day.
