SAVE THE DATE: LA Forward Summer Picnic

In lieu of our July general membership meeting, we invite members who have attended at least one LA Forward event in the last year (regional group meeting, issue group meeting, teach-in, phone bank night, etc.) to meet each other in person on July 10 from 2-4pm, at LA State Historic Park, just east of Chinatown and north of DTLA, if you're able and safe to do so. We'll be sharing more details after June 15th about safety precautions, food, RSVP, and more, but we hope to throw a kid-friendly and pet-friendly picnic to put Zoom faces and names to in-person faces and names. A majority of our budget comes from our members’ monthly donations. In 2024, our goal is to raise 70% of our budget from dues-paying members. That will enable us to be 100% accountable to people like you. Your gift allows us to respond rapidly to emerging issues, to take on powerful interests, and spend as little time possible on fundraising so we can focus on the crucial work that needs to get done every day.
