September Housing Justice Meeting

Join us to learn about how to get involved in housing justice in Los Angeles. We will have a guest speaker join us to talk about the Mello Act Ordinance and its potential impact on affordable housing in the coastal zones. There will be updates from our coalition housing justice groups in LA and we will discuss how we can build on the work being done to support AB 1487, SB 679, & AB 387.

A majority of our budget comes from our members’ monthly donations. In 2024, our goal is to raise 70% of our budget from dues-paying members. That will enable us to be 100% accountable to people like you. Your gift allows us to respond rapidly to emerging issues, to take on powerful interests, and spend as little time possible on fundraising so we can focus on the crucial work that needs to get done every day.
