Join us a special teach-in on the Port of LA. The Port is a huge source of pollution and carbon emissions that we often don't think about unless we are driving by. Ships idling in the port have recently caused record-breaking levels of air pollution. Learn about our many opportunities to reduce climate change and improve our air quality through actions such as electrifying trucks coming in and out of the port, regulating how long ships can idle, and ensuring a just transition to the extent that decarbonization reduces jobs (e.g., through automation).
