Community Responses to County Reform Measures

Major governance reforms are being proposed for LA County, which voters are likely to see on their November ballot. These changes include increasing the number of county supervisors, creating an elected County Executive position, adding ethics reforms, and more. Earlier this month, we heard from the author of the proposal, Supervisor Lindsey Horvath. A majority of our budget comes from our members’ monthly donations. In 2024, our goal is to raise 70% of our budget from dues-paying members. That will enable us to be 100% accountable to people like you.
