LA Forward Monthly Meeting, featuring LA City Controller Kenneth Mejia

All are invited to join LA Forward Action’s FIRST meeting of 2023, where we’ll be joined on Zoom by special guest LA City Controller Kenneth Mejia. After receiving the most largest number of votes for a city-wide seat in LA City electoral history, he’ll be sharing:

  • how his first month in office is going,

  • what he and his team are learning,

  • what constituents can expect in the first 3-6 months (or year) from his leadership, and

  • where his team may need continued help from the larger community/public

We’ll also share more about how Angelenos can participate in organizing efforts to ensure accountability and progressive policymaking in 2023 and beyond. RSVP now!

A majority of our budget comes from our members’ monthly donations. In 2024, our goal is to raise 70% of our budget from dues-paying members. That will enable us to be 100% accountable to people like you. Your gift allows us to respond rapidly to emerging issues, to take on powerful interests, and spend as little time possible on fundraising so we can focus on the crucial work that needs to get done every day.
