We face a massive housing and homelessness crisis here in LA and there's no 1 silver bullet to fix it.

We want to get more educated about the topic so we can understand the problem and push for comprehensive solutions. So a bunch of us started a Housing Book Club, that meet Monday evenings in Silver Lake.

For our 3rd session on June 17, we're reading about the concept of "social housing":

A majority of our budget comes from our members’ monthly donations. In 2025, our goal is to raise 80% of our budget from dues-paying members. That will enable us to be 100% accountable to people like you. Your gift allows us to respond rapidly to emerging issues, to take on powerful interests, and spend as little time possible on fundraising so we can focus on the crucial work that needs to get done every day.
