LA City Housing Justice Monthly Assembly

Based on demand from community members, we’re launching a monthly assembly to bring residents across LA together around the number one issue in LA: housing. Plug into the latest housing justice issues and actions across local housing justice coalitions, and figure out how you want to get involved. In this first assembly, attendees will:

  • Get an opportunity to better understand the movement for social housing as a form of permanently affordable housing in LA, as well as

  • Hear about (and give feedback on) new incentives LA City Planning is developing to increase affordable housing across the city (while protecting residents already in housing affordable to them).

LA City Housing Justice Monthly Meeting - June 2024

A majority of our budget comes from our members’ monthly donations. In 2024, our goal is to raise 70% of our budget from dues-paying members. That will enable us to be 100% accountable to people like you. Your gift allows us to respond rapidly to emerging issues, to take on powerful interests, and spend as little time possible on fundraising so we can focus on the crucial work that needs to get done every day.
