Many Southern California voters have some recognition for the Democratic Party, but most don’t know how its local branch — the Los Angeles County Democratic Party (LACDP) — works. What is LACDP? What does it do, how is it structured, and how has it been used as a lever for change toward a more progressive LA? How have community members engaged with the party to advocate for their needs? And what can community members expect from the party as we head into the 2024 election cycle? RSVP for this virtual teach-in, led by LA Forward leaders have built experience in the Democratic Party and want to make sure more Angelenos understand this powerful lever in LA politics.
