Progressive Power to Build A Better Los Angeles

Join City Councilperson-elect Eunisses Hernandez as she moderates “Progressive Power to Build a Better Los Angeles,” a conversation with City Controller candidate Kenneth Mejia and City Attorney candidate Faisal Gill about how the City Council, the City Attorney, and the City Controller can work together across citywide government offices to create progressive change in Los Angeles. 

This wide-ranging conversation will touch on governing strategy for housing and homelessness, consumer protections, environmental issues, tenant protections, police accountability, and racial justice, as well as the candidates’ personal backgrounds and approaches to politics and policy.
