SFV Community Convening + Housing Ordinance Feedback Session

Are you a resident of the San Fernando Valley? We’ve got a unique opportunity for you on Zoom on Wednesday, 4/10!

While we continue to build space for Valley residents to meet others who want to make the Valley a fairer and more flourishing place to live, we are also — for this night only! — bringing in members of LA’s City Planning department to engage SFV residents (directly!) about incentives they are drafting to support affordable housing in the SFV and to protect residents who are currently in housing already affordable to them. They are sincerely wanting to hear your responses to their plans, which will influence council decision-making before the end of the year! Now is the time to direct their work in ways that will benefit your community, even before councilmembers see these drafts!

A majority of our budget comes from our members’ monthly donations. In 2024, our goal is to raise 70% of our budget from dues-paying members. That will enable us to be 100% accountable to people like you. Your gift allows us to respond rapidly to emerging issues, to take on powerful interests, and spend as little time possible on fundraising so we can focus on the crucial work that needs to get done every day.
