Street Vending Press Conference + Joint Committee Mtg

 

 

Join LA Forward and our partners next Weds at City Hall for this important action to legalize vending!

After our historic win in February to drop criminal charges from illegal sidewalk vending, we’re heading back to council to hear the city’s proposal for a legal vending program. Join us at the Press Conference (2pm) and the Economic Development and Public Works joint committee meeting (3pm) to support a vending program that is just and truly reflective of vendor needs.

A majority of our budget comes from our members’ monthly donations. In 2025, our goal is to raise 80% of our budget from dues-paying members. That will enable us to be 100% accountable to people like you. Your gift allows us to respond rapidly to emerging issues, to take on powerful interests, and spend as little time possible on fundraising so we can focus on the crucial work that needs to get done every day.
