What Is Building Decarbonization & Why Is It So Important

Join us a special teach-in on about Building Decarbonization!

Building decarbonization is one of the biggest impact actions we can take to reduce carbon emissions in Los Angeles! This includes issues like requiring new buildings to use electric instead of gas appliances, and making buildings more energy efficient, as well as equity issues (e.g., how do we do this without making housing more expensive). Gas appliances also create poor indoor air quality so this also has important health impacts for every household who uses them
