United to House LA - Teach In & Discussion

Join us for a teach-in about the United to House LA Ballot Initiative. If we put it on the November 2022 ballot and pass it, this people-powered initiative will

  • Provide immediate support to people experiencing homelessness and those at risk of homelessness.

  • Invest in innovative approaches to rapidly developing new affordable housing at low-cost.

  • These programs will help nearly 500,000 renters stay in their homes each year. and create more than 26,000 homes for people who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness.

  • It includes a citizen oversight and accountability protections for tenants and renters, supported by a dedicated Inspector General with guaranteed funding.
