August Backyard Gathering

Can you believe it’s time again to get out the vote?!

With just 50 days until ballots drop for the general election, our August 21st backyard gathering will be THE SPOT for LA Forward Action community members to plug into volunteer opportunities for every campaign we’ve endorsed.

If there’s a campaign you’re passionate about, this is the time to show up and get our community organized to support it.

Plus, our gathering takes place just days after the County Registrar’s office will have confirmed ALL ballot initiatives for the November ballot. We’ll work together to understand what’s been approved.

We’ll be meeting in a backyard in the Los Feliz. Address will be shared with people who RSVP.

A majority of our budget comes from our members’ monthly donations. In 2024, our goal is to raise 70% of our budget from dues-paying members. That will enable us to be 100% accountable to people like you. Your gift allows us to respond rapidly to emerging issues, to take on powerful interests, and spend as little time possible on fundraising so we can focus on the crucial work that needs to get done every day.
