Earlier this month, residents of LA’s City Council District 4 kicked off an organizing process that aims to set them up for an initial meeting with Councilmember Nithya Raman later in March, highlighting key priorities for her attention and identifying more strategic opportunities for the group's advocacy efforts. In particular, the group gravitated toward three key areas of focus for CD-4 organizing and advocacy: HOUSING/HOMELESSNESS; MENTAL HEALTH; and NON-CAR MOBILITY/TRANSIT.
This March Zoom meeting builds on those conversations. All CD-4 community members are welcome to engage, particularly those interested in learning how to translate their lived experiences into real policy change, alongside their neighbors.
