CD14 Community Gathering

LA’s Council District 14 may have a councilmember wasting taxpayer money, but we aren’t going waste our time and power!

Are you a community member within the boundaries of LA City Council District 14 (CD14), currently represented by Councilmember Kevin de Leon? We’re bringing residents together to build relationships with other CD14 constituents who are eager to make their district AND all of Los Angeles a fair, flourishing place for everyone who lives here. We’ll create space to talk about key issues neighbors want addressed, and collectively identify workarounds to make our voices heard without going through typical pathways of working with your councilmember. Join in at the beginning of this organizing process! No organizing experience required.

Conversation will be held at a resident’s backyard. Address will be shared with those who RSVP closer to the date. RSVP below!

A majority of our budget comes from our members’ monthly donations. In 2024, our goal is to raise 70% of our budget from dues-paying members. That will enable us to be 100% accountable to people like you. Your gift allows us to respond rapidly to emerging issues, to take on powerful interests, and spend as little time possible on fundraising so we can focus on the crucial work that needs to get done every day.
